Congressional Testimony: Kristin Urquiza Testifies Before House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Disinformation in the Media

Kristin shared the story of her father, Mark Anthony Urquiza, who died from COVID-19 on June 30, 2020, after trusted leaders and media outlets told him it was safe to resume normal life. Her testimony detailed how disinformation on cable news and from elected officials created the conditions for hundreds of thousands of preventable deaths.
